Former NHL Captain, Bryce Salvador, recently made the decision to forfeit a championship game in lieu of putting his 12u team's mental health first following a traumatic injury to not one but two of their teammates. He opens up on what went into his decision, the push back and support he has received, and the conversations that he hopes to see in the youth hockey culture moving forward.
