Update: 1 year into listening and I still love this podcast so much! I’ve learned a lot about parenting a hockey player. I really enjoyed listening to this podcast. I actually listened for the first time yesterday, to the episode on “How to Identify Talent at an Early Age,” my son is young and he feels discouraged that other kids are bigger and faster, but I feel confident that the sport will help my son develop into a good teammate. Talent will come with practice, but I agree that it’s important that as an athlete he becomes a well rounded person.

This is an excellent discussion. I wish I could send this out to all the parents on my sons team, but as the wife of one of the assistant coaches, it might not go over so well. 🤣

As a former competitive college swimmer, the subject matter is spot on as to what I was taught through motivational speakers in my prime. As a Mom, you want to teach your kids the lessons that will make them their best as whatever they do and Lee does that. My son plays competitive ice hockey and thinks Lee is great! We listen to him together. Great podcasts-well done Lee!
